Meeting Minutes

March 9, 2004

Lowell called the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m.

Roll call: Lowell Hite – Present; Bev Reese – Present; Laura Clark – Present; Aaron Reedy, Clerk – Present

Laura made a motion to approve the February 2004 meeting minutes. Bev second. All yea.

Bev made a motion to approve the February 2004 Financial statement. Laura second. All yea.

Aaron read an e-mail from the Kristi at the Walnut Creek Sewer District regarding the routine checks at the pump house. Bill is no longer there. Dustin is doing some things now.

Aaron said he talked to Flo at Baltimore. She mentioned they would probably be raising their water rates every year. That’s okay per our agreement as long as they increase their rates for their residents, too.

Aaron said he talked to the USDA about our budget for the year. They gave a contact name if we want to have a water loss prevention study done. Aaron Reinhart – Ohio Rural Water Assoc. 419-884-6350.

The issue was raised regarding accounts where the house is owned by one person, and the property is owned by another. Who should be liable for the bill? It was agreed we need to ask the village solicitor.

Lowell asked Aaron to call around to see what other Villages charge for deposits & when they return it – or keep it.

Board discussed possibility of making the landlords in charge of water bill instead of renters.

Bev made a motion to pay bills and adjourn. Laura second. All yea. The time is 7:15 p.m.
