Meeting Minutes

March 8, 2005

Lowell called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m.

Roll call: Lowell Hite – Present; Bev Reese – Present; Laura Clark – Present; Aaron Reedy, Clerk – Present.

Laura made a motion to approve the February 2005 meeting minutes. Bev second. All yea.

Lowell said we ought to look into increasing the water rates or we’ll come out on the short end of the stick.

Laura asked if the new meter at the Starlite Lanes was installed yet. Lowell said it’s been too cold.

Bev made a motion to approve the February 2005 Financial statement. Laura second. All yea.

The board reviewed the current water rates and discussed how much to raise them.

Bev made a motion to propose to the Village Council to increase the minimum charge from $13.00 to $15.00; increase the rate from $4.80 per 1000 gallons over 2000 to $5.00 per 1000 gallons over 2000.; increase the minimum charges for meter size to:

5/8 or ¾ inch meter $15.00 per month

1 inch meter $16.00 per month

1 ¼ inch meter $17.00 per month

1 ½ inch meter $18.00 per month

2 inch meter $30.00 per month; and

Increase the temporary user rate from $5.00 per 1000 gallons to $6.00 per 1000 gallons. Laura second. All yea.

Bev made a motion to adjourn. Laura second. All yea. The time is 7:10 p.m.
